Ion is a completely certified leader in Non-Destructive Examination (NDE) solutions and technology. Our expert staff specialize in Ultrasonic (UT), Magnetic Particle (MPI), and Liquid Penetrant (LP) testing.
Ion is among a select number of exclusive providers approved by the Government of Alberta to offer all respective services relating to the Baseline and Reduction Opportunity (BRO) Assessment Program. The BRO Assessment Program provides up to $200k CAD in funding to clients to help manage emission sources. Ion utilizes only the most advanced and intrinsically safe equipment in the industry to detect methane and greenhouse gas (GHG) emission sources, including the FLIR® range of GFX infrared cameras. Ion technicians are certified in the use of the FLIR®range, enabling the detection of over 400 volatile gases and ensuring complete capture of emission sources. Ion depends on the latest QL320 technology to accurately quantify any and all emission sources.
Ion’s certified imaging technicians leverage their vast experience and the latest FLIR® infrared technology to ensure the most comprehensive evaluations possible, no matter what the application. We specialize in general thermal imaging inspections, ranging from building envelope heat loss evaluations to insurance-mandated electrical inspections and flood damage evaluations for clients across Western Canada.
